Sharks Bite Opposition Victorian Age Short Course Championships

Winning 13 medals and gaining 39 other top 10 placing's, over two hard fought days of the recent Victorian Age Short Course Swimming Championships, the Wyndham City Sharks have once again reaffirmed  their position as one of the top 10 swimming clubs in Victoria, and again the premier swimming club of Melbourne's North West.

A fitting and apt reward for the 45 member team that represented the Sharks at this years championships, many of whom spend up to 20 hours each week, training both in the pool and in the gym. This result is also a wonderful reflection on the very dedicated and committed coaching staff of the Wyndham City Sharks, who spend countless hours in the careful planning and meticulous implementation of the various training programs that allow all of their athletes to do so well.

Special congratulations must go to Alicia Danaher, Brooke Danaher, Marko Ivosev, Andrew Jarvis and Leigh Ryan all of whom won medals during the championships.
